These are a few of my favorite things...

Hello blog readers. I have recently had lots of motivation to blog. I have wanted to write about this for a while. There are certain things in this world that make me happy.  So without further ado, these are a few of my favorite things...
Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens. While I am slightly joking The Sound of Music is absolutely on this list.
Starbucks.
No questions about it.
I love anything with caramel and coffee.
This picture will represent one of my favorite things.
My coffee dates with my Nana.
Some days after school I will go get some coffee and
take it to Nana's office and just chat with her.

Sunsets. I love sunsets.
This particular one was in Panama City on my youth groups fall retreat.
It was just the senior high students and was one of the best retreats I've ever been on.
This picture does not give the sunset justice.
The way the Suns beams were so prominent in the sky
was like nothing I had ever seen before.

             Girls with the name Anna.
This one may seem odd but my two best friends are named Anna.
So obviously the name works. But more than the name the people
are my favorite. They are absolutely the best.
There is so many things that I could say about each of
them but I would need another blog post.
I should also add that I'm not prejudice toward other people with other names
God just knew who I needed in my life and they
just so happened to have the same name.

Baking. It's like therapy.

My dog bandit is absolutely one of my favorite things.
 I mean look at him.
How could he not be. Don't you just want to lay down in the grass with him???
Rainy days.
I love a gloomy, muggy, cold, and rainy day.
Call me crazy but I get to wear my rain boots and if I'm not busy I will lay
in bed all day and listen to the rain hit my air conditioner.

Bubble baths and candles.
At least once a week I like to have a "spa night" of sorts.
I light my candles, run a bath, put on a face mask,
and normally put on my sleep station pandora.
It's my way of giving myself 30 minutes
just to unwind from my week.
Selfies with my dad.
I picked this one out of so many because some
of them should not be on the Internet.
Not sure why but they are really special to me
and I will treasure them forever.
Fresh flowers.
I was given these flowers after beauty review and
I absolutely loved them.  Most people don't actually know my favorite flower is a hydrangea.
The ones that are  that light periwinkle blue.
I do however love the elegance of a rose and it is a close second on the list.
Writing and photography.
Obviously I love  to write and take pictures because I started a blog.
This has been such a fun place for me to share a little piece of my
life with everyone who reads. So thank you to everyone who does read it.

There are so many things that I could have added to this list. My family on both sides, my youth group, my small group, and the amazing people in my life. I am so blessed. I am determined to make 2015 a year of transformation for me. I mean after all I am 17 now. You are the Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen... any who this is going to be a good year. I will leave you with one of my favorite bible verse and quote.
Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Every time you wake up with air in your lungs and a pulse, there is a purpose for you and your life. - anonymous

Thanks for reading!!!
xoxo, Emma Rose
